"We didn't really know the players who we would be coming up against. All of their pre-season fixtures have been behind closed doors, we had little time to prepare for the the players that they put in. It was sort of a case of tossing the coin about how they would play.
"We knew about Oztumer and Lowe and Murphy but a lot were very young and very experienced but some of them have great careers ahead of them. I made my boys aware that we were all 18-19 once and if Phil Parkinson had asked me at that age to play in front of nearly 2000 travelling fans I'd of given absolutely everything. So we had to be on it today and all of the players were."
